Before and after: Inspirational washroom refurbishment stories

If you’re looking for inspiration for your workplace bathrooms, school toilets or any other washroom facilities, you've come to the right place.

In order to showcase our cutting-edge washroom refurbishment projects and help inspire your own, we’ve put together some highlights from our impressive portfolio.

You can find out more about how we tailor our designs to meet the unique needs of each client, as well as discover some great ways to blend functionality and modern aesthetics in your own washrooms.

In order to do this, we’ll share a variety of washroom refurbishment projects from commercial, educational and workplace settings.

Let’s get started.

1. Transforming school washrooms

We helped to transform mundane school toilets into a more immersive and fun experience for the students at Fairfields Primary School in Waltham Cross.

The school administration collaborated with our local experts to come up with this modern and hygienic washroom design with a twist - it’s space-themed!

For this project, we used specially designed UPVC cladding and shatterproof acrylic mirrors all adorned with celestial designs to create bathrooms perfect for young children.

But our designs are not limited to space, we have loads of great themes and motifs we can incorporate into our washroom refurbishment projects to suit the unique preferences of the business or location.

Just like in our next case study.

2. Keeping it up-to-date at the zoo

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Blackpool Zoo, we designed and installed their new commercial washrooms.

We used the latest in digital printing to include black and white portraits of animals on the toilet cubicle doors, plus we added our very own gorilla-themed hand dryer to complete the look. The team also chose a vivid green wall panelling to continue the natural feel and theme throughout.

We understand the need for busy public toilets to withstand lots of foot traffic and hundreds of users on a daily basis. That is why we incorporated Polyrey Solid Grade Laminate cubicles into the design, these are scratch and abrasion-resistant for protection and longevity in these busy facilities.

3. Ensuring holiday happiness at the leisure park

We love working with family-owned businesses like Longbeach Leisure Park, as well as other camping and glamping sites.

This particular site for static caravans and lodge holiday homes in Hornsea is popular with holidaymakers and the owners decided it was time to give their washrooms a bit of TLC.

We know that it’s important to get the balance between style and functionality. That is why a central part of our design was the state-of-the-art modular sink system that was elegant and modern, whilst remaining durable in this high-traffic environment.

We also included wood grain decor manufactured from Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) to ensure a sleek and functional finish.

4. Creating beautiful commercial studio washrooms

We were so excited to be entrusted with the washroom refurbishment at IMG Studios, Europe’s best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park in London.

The washroom facilities span eight floors and the team wanted elegant and practical bathrooms that reflected the company's identity in the design.

We chose flush-fronted toilet cubicles manufactured in Polyrey compact Solid Grade Laminate, complete with antibacterial protection. We also chose full-height floor-to-ceiling cubicles to offer all users complete privacy with a seamless and stylish appearance.

5. Whisking travellers away with chic airport washrooms

We embarked on a washroom refurbishment project with Oxford Airport to enhance the travel experience for all passengers.

The team wanted to go beyond your standard renovations in order to showcase an innovative approach to airport amenities. As a result, comfort, style and efficiency were built into every aspect of the design.

Some of the key features of this project include our bespoke accent lighting, luxury vinyl flooring and beautiful panelling that offers a range of benefits such as water resistance, durability and long-lasting performance.

These versatile designs come with easy installation systems which makes them quick and hassle-free, reducing overall costs, whilst being able to seamlessly complement any interior decor.
