Privacy with a Splash: Transforming School Washrooms with Cool Tones.
This washroom refurbishment project for Northamptonshire C of E Primary School was designed to create a child-friendly, modern environment using cool tones from our exclusive washroom laminate collection. The aim was to foster a calming, clean atmosphere that would be both functional and appealing to young students. A key aspect of the design was the cubicle system, which incorporated shaped, lower-height doors. This design maintained the necessary privacy for children while also allowing for teacher supervision when required, ensuring both safety and comfort

To enhance the visual appeal, we introduced acrylic shatterproof mirrors with a unique "splash" design. These drama-inspired mirrors added a playful yet stylish touch to the washroom, making them an engaging feature for the children. The mirrors are durable and safe, perfectly suited for a primary school environment. For the WC facilities, we selected low-height toilets, specially designed for early years and primary school settings. These WCs, fitted with open-ring toilet seats, were chosen for their practicality in high-traffic areas, offering easy access and comfort for young children.
The result is a well-thought-out washroom space that balances aesthetics with functionality. The use of cool-toned laminates created a serene atmosphere, while the innovative design of the cubicles and mirrors added both practicality and visual interest. The school was delighted with the outcome, noting how the washroom now feels fresh, inviting, and perfectly tailored to the needs of young students
