Project Overview
Located in Swadlincote, Leicestershire, this complete washroom refurbishment aimed to merge aesthetics with resilience. Every element was carefully selected to ensure a long-lasting and hygienic environment, meeting both functional and design aspirations.
Innovative Materials & Design
A key component of this project was the installation of Altro’s advanced hygienic wall cladding system throughout the facility. This material is designed for easy maintenance, offering superior resistance to stains, chemicals, and odours. Its impact-resistant properties make it ideal for high-traffic areas, while its fully sealed, watertight construction prevents moisture ingress, ensuring longevity.
To complement the wall cladding, the washroom cubicles were manufactured using high-quality Polyrey solid grade laminate. This robust solid laminate panel is completely impervious to water ingress, providing exceptional durability in demanding environments.
New suspended ceilings feature a smooth-faced vinyl ceiling tile that enhances both performance and aesthetics. Made from, a recyclable material, it is highly durable. The smooth surface allows for easy cleaning and can tolerate tough cleaning agents. This product also offer a 30-minute fire rating, adding an extra layer of safety. Additionally, its stain-resistant properties ensure that it maintains a pristine appearance throughout installation and use. The density of the tiles guarantees high-pressure resistance, contributing to a stable and reliable ceiling structure.
